Searching for even a tiny slice of the energy drink market, "Shotz" came to us with a brand overhaul assignment. Not only renaming, but also a redesign of their packaging. Shotz wanted to position themselves up against the leader of the category, 5 hour energy, and take over some of the shelf space in Wal-Mart that is otherwise controlled by the 5 hour energy juggernaut. The deadline was tight, and the turn around was quick. We presented several great designs, (a couple of mine below.) While in the end, we were not thrilled with their final choice, and we ultimately cannot control the taste level of the client, we did manage to help them sell their case as "Go Time Energy" to Wal-Mart, and dig into the energy drink pockets. Also, it was pretty interesting to get a design project like this. They don't come around too often.
